Southern Muswell Hill towards Highgate and N6
Convenient for Highgate Village and the Tube Station, as well as the wide variety of shops in Muswell Hill Broadway, this locale is distinguished by twisting, “hilly Avenues” in an area dominated by 2 large green spaces - the rustic Queens Wood and Highgate Wood.
The most popular roads here - many with stunning views towards the City of London - are Cranley Gardens, Woodland Rise, Woodland Gardens and Onslow Gardens - where there are long terraces of large and ornate Edwardian single fronted, 3 and 4 storey houses, and a number of double fronted - usually semi detached - houses, although there are some terraces of late Edwardian “Tudor style” houses as well - many with superb gardens backing directly onto the greenery of the Woods.
There are also some very sought after semi detached houses in Wood Vale - on the periphery of the N10 and N6 postcodes - consisting primarily of 1920’s and 1930’s built houses - with garages and off street parking spaces - mixed with a few “late Edwardian”, and contemporary houses. Most of the houses in Wood Vale either back onto the greenery of Queens Wood, or onto the Playing Fields and the Tennis Courts adjacent to the Cricket Club.
